Call San Diego Reg. of Voters 1 week later because i don't show up. they *do* have me registered, somehow under my lic's previous sd address

Visit CA Secretary of State website, check registration, they have me registered under my old East Palo Alto address

Re-register with CA Sec of State on September 21 via their webform. Call back SD Registrar 1 week later, my registration is still processing

I've been checking the san diego registrar of voters website ~daily for 27 days, today is the first day i actually show up correctly reg'd

This wasn't even a hostile experience, but I have spent basically a month thinking about all the subtle failure cases.

all this to say also, check your registration and call your county registrar if you don't show up. also, “trust but verify”
