      1. because i grew up using muds where conversations always took place Spatially, i always wonder how apps like Slack/Discord conceive of Space. Is a channel a place (like a room in a mud) or is it a filter (like in zephyr)? if it's a place, why can't i do more with it _as a space?_

      i know this sounds stupid, like i want some microsoft bob version of my slack instance or discord server, but also, why _can't_ i have that???
