jamestynan This was sort of similar to the high level takeaway I had from gtd that tasks you don’t want to accomplish aren’t game-able or too complex, gtd suggests breaking them up smaller, but I’ve found that the approach of doing them the stupidest way possible also helps unstick me

jamestynan Also your point about snacking and other mini dopamine hits was very resonant, if I’m in the zone I’m not snacking and I’m actually probably exercising more often than not, when I’m blocked it’s the opposite, good habits fall apart & I realize I need to take a break or something
