scientiffic The book was like a romantic (but less compelling imo) version of If On A Winters Night A Traveler and the wachowskis really just _went for it_ in a really earnest way, I think people hoped it would be as visually thrilling as speed racer. Both are compelling reasons to me.On twitter.com
