sliminality Adobe inDesign has both but also has this notion of anchored content (ala pos:abs) and just straight up pos:fixed content. It supports the block/inline flow I think because the underlying doc format is xml and because it makes flowing books (written in Word) easier.On twitter.com

sliminality Also it sort of treats almost everything as a sort of anchored inline content that either spans the whole text block or doesn’t or is positioned relative to its anchor, but lots of its layout ideas are so tied to what feel like html/word ideology.Permalink On twitter.com
