mayli I’d probably ask “tell me about your process for making things (or favorite/ specific portfolio thing), how do/did you know when you’re done?” Somebody without much work and formal experience I’d expect to: execute on some existing design or do guided research/free exploration.On twitter.com

mayli Thinking more about this, I feel like it’s unfair to ask any *real* question. I’d honestly take the time to do 1-1, tease out their interests and prepare some resources for people that want exercises based on print, product, illustration, system, ux, poster, etc design.Permalink On twitter.com
